This teacher training resource draws on IRC’s long-standing experience supporting conflict and disaster-affected students, teachers and communities, in addition to action research conducted by Rebecca Winthrop and Jackie Kirk in Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Afghanistan over the course of 4 years which led to the development of IRC’s Healing Classrooms approach.
